At this point we are at most 10 minutes into the movie but to tell you more would spoil your viewing experience, you'll just have to see for yourself how it all plays out.

This movie was awesome. Personally, I think it was overdue and should have been made years ago when the concept and comedy of Zoolander was still in people's heads. The jokes and one-liners were right on par with those in the first one, acting from the MAIN ACTORS was spot-on, and I laughed my balls off. We went on a Friday night in an empty theater, so I don't know how a big theater crowd would react, but I loved it. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson fell right back into character perfectly and were very funny. Kyle Mooney was hilarious, I wish he had a larger part. Will Ferrell was decent, his performance started out strong, but got out of hand towards the end. Fred Armisen could have been funny, but fell a little flat. Kristen Wiig was deece.

Superficially, the film is a light-hearted comedy about the foibles of people in the 1950s Hollywood film industry, which are just glamorized, larger-than-life sins and failings of humans in general - immorality, stupidity, intoxication and the like - magnified by dramatic nature of the movie trade and the secondary, parasitic gossip-publication industry. The real genius of "Hail, Caesar," however, is the way the surface narrative is intricately and artfully interwoven with one of the central struggles of 20th Century history, in a way that is subtle yet deeply moving. This struggle, which continues today, is the battle for the hearts and minds of mankind, a battle between the god of the Almighty Secular State (in this movie, Soviet Communism) and the God of the Bible. The protagonist, Baird Whitlock (played by George Clooney), is an actor kidnapped by a communist cell and held for ransom. He is almost swayed to the communist cause by the persuasive rants of the various cell members (including the detestable Professor Herbert Marcuse, who was a real-life American professor with an incredibly potent, destructive legacy). The "fixer" who works for Whitlock's studio (Eddie Mannix, played brilliantly by Josh Brolin) recovers Whitlock and literally slaps the commie nonsense out of him, restoring him to productive sanity. The three minutes in the movie where a rabbi, a Catholic priest, an Eastern Orthodox priest, and a Protestant minister debate the acceptability of the movie studio's depiction of Christ is comedy gold. Do not miss this movie, especially if you were born after 1970!

I think this movie was really genuine in the sense that the ending wasn't too cliché, it was real. Though some parts of this movie's comedy was over dramatized (not a bad thing) the romance part was super real and it gave you a real punch in the face of reality. The movie revolved around a few characters and how their lives were connected though not the main point of the story. The point of the story or what I got from it was to find yourself and that life doesn't always go the way you want it to go. There was some parts of the movie where I just got frustrated because I wanted someone to end up with someone else, but that doesn't happen in life. this movie actually shows that not everyone's in a relationship and the romance movie does really show you "How to be single" (and happy).

A very successful comedy, that made me laugh out loud, as I have not laughed in a long film. Robert De Niro and Zac Efron plays flawlessly, you have nothing to reproach them, comical phases are a lot, not the kind of comedy with just a few scenes, but one that hearty laugh, I can say that is worth seeing. But now depends on the type of humor that we each agree, this movie has many moments and perverse aftershocks, people who do not have liked movies like American Pie, do not recommend this film because it is similar. Otherwise the film worth seeing.

The lady is Mary, or is it Margaret, Shepherd who might be considered homeless were it not for the van she lives in. The somewhat eccentric man is Bennett himself. I said two because in this case we get two Bennetts for the price of one, Alan the writer and Alan the householder and they are both played by Alex Jennings.

Miss Shepherd really existed and she's the lady who, at Bennett's request. moved her van from the street outside his house, where she had parked it, into his driveway. Initially she was due to stay a few months but ended up parking there for 15 years. Bennett turned the story of her stay first into a novella and then into a play and now, under the direction of Nicholas Hytner, into a film and a beautiful job he's made of it.

The film starts out by showing us the insanity that we all know as Christmas shopping. It's all about how materialism and family strife can wreak havoc on our emotions during holidays. The problems all trickle down to the children, who should really be enjoying and celebrating the season instead of getting caught up in the stress the adult deal with. So, our main character rips up his letter to Santa, and wishes for all of this to be over with.

Krampus, being the evil side of Christmas, grants the wish. The characters are slowly plunged into a horror story. Their Christmas story becomes a story of survival. Will they be able to get along for the sake of surviving Christmas?

There were only a few things that I really had a problem with. That's why it gets an 8 instead of a 9 or 10. The first reason comes from the fact that I am a serious horror fan, and felt disappointed at the lack of blood and gore in the film. That reason may keep some genre fans away, but also makes the film more accessible to the kid and family audience, whom the film is really for. The other problem I had with the film was with the editing during the scenes with Krampus' helpers, because it was quite jumpy and made it hard to see everything going on the entire time. Again, this is a good movie. I highly recommend it as one of the best new family Christmas movies.

It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. It's a good family movie and had a much better plot than Chipwrecked. I do advise you to watch the first and second one before this one, so you know what's going on and who the characters are. They could've left out the "potty" humor, but there wasn't much. I liked it a lot and it's definitely aimed at kids. It's not a must-see, if you want to an Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, I'd suggest watching the Chipmunk Adventure, Meet the Wolfman, or the first one in 2007, but if you want to entertain your kids for an hour and a half at a movie theater then knock your socks off. Overall cute storyline with a talented cast and moments that will make your child and maybe even yourself laugh.

The Saturday Night Live (SNL) alumni are back...well, three of them at least. If you like the sketches from that iconic show which has provided the movie world with comedic actors ranging from Steve Martin to Eddie Murphy, you should enjoy this raunchy, smutty and crude comedy. It's definitely not for everyone's tastes with jokes likely to offend conservative viewers. Just like comedy skits from these types of TV shows, some of the jokes succeed resulting in uproarious laughter while others produce a mere snigger or nothing at all. At close to two hours, the movie tends to overstay its welcome and could have benefited from a 15-20 minute edit to eliminate the jokes that didn't work.

The titular sisters are Maura (Amy Poehler) and Kate (Tina Fey). Both Ellis women are experiencing setbacks in their lives. Maura is coming off a divorce while Kate simply refuses to grow up even though she is the mother of a teenage daughter (Madison Davenport). They don't need any more complications but another one arises when the Ellis' parents (James Brolin and Dianne Weist) Skype Maura to inform her that they intend to sell the family home. Maura's job is to entice Kate to return home and together, they must clean out their bedroom which has remain untouched since they moved out of home. When they discover that their home has already been sold and their parents are now staying in a retirement home, they plan a farewell party at their family home before they must vacate the premises. There's nothing subtle about this comedy here, mainly vulgarity of the highest order. Since this viewer doesn't mind sex comedies, there wasn't anything offensive although it's easy to see why many people wouldn't like this movie. Dirty jokes aside, the story does have something to say about the family unit but luckily doesn't preach to its audience.

Sisters occasionally feels like an extended sketch comedy show, albeit raunchy in nature. Jason Moore is the director and his only other directing credit is Pitch Perfect, which is tame compared to the humour in Sisters. Paula Pell is the writer who has mainly written gags for SNL so this is probably the main reason why it feels like sketch comedy at times.

I don't usually laugh out loud in a movie theater but I had at least 4 or 5 big ones here. I think Will Ferrell can be great in the right spot, but certainly not all of his movies have been entertaining, same for Wahlberg. They play off each other very well in a very intelligent comedy, Will is the touchy feely warm step dad and Wahlberg the macho irresponsible bio dad. The movie plays out very smartly and, unlike a lot of other recent movies, doesn't run too long. The other characters are well played, including Will's wife, and the final wrap is excellent.

Let me say this, this movie was hilarious. Reading reviews will have you thinking to not go see this movie but I'm glad I did. It's a comedy it's supposed to make you laugh. It may not have a storyline especially with a comedy. And I think that people who don't find movies like this funny is dry , boring and has no sense of humor. Some people are just too serious. Loosen up.

Anyways If you like to laugh and looking for a fun movie. Go see this movie. If you want to be serious stay home.
It's good to see tika sumpter in this role because I'm used to seeing her in Tyler perry have and the have nots where she plays a con artist so I found myself calling her Candace the whole time.

"Daddy's Home" was a very enjoyable comedy movie to watch! The mix of polar opposites Will Ferrell and Mark Walhberg was almost perfect. Ferrell plays the wimpy, goody two-shoes husband who is desperately trying to keep his wife and step-kids together as a family. Wahlberg plays the charismatic and tough guy ex-husband/biological father looking to win back his family at almost any cost. The beautiful Linda Cardellini plays Sara the wife/ex-wife who is caught in the hilarious tug of war between her two suitors. While the plot is somewhat predictable, the humor is fresh and so very enjoyable! If you're looking for an hour and a half of laughs, look no further and go see this enjoyable movie. However, you might want to leave the younger kids at home for this one because of sexual innuendo and language.
